Maine has 4 qualifiers scheduled for this fall as well as the FIRST LEGO League Championship in December.
But even better, we've already received the news that we'll be able to send our top Maine team to the World Festival (East) this spring, so one team will be heading to Detroit to go up against the best teams in the world. The Festival will be April 23-25th, 2018 in Detroit, Michigan.
But details on the site are still a little sparse, so plan on checking back later for more info.

This weekend at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee in Lewiston is the Pine Tree District Robotics Competition! Featuring the big FIRST Robotics Competition robots that high school teams from all over New England will be showing off. The competition is a two day event on Friday and Saturday, with teams showing up on Thursday night to get all set up. These robots are up to about 120 pounds and clearly are works of mechanical art. If you get a chance, drive to Lewiston and check it out!
And if you are there, look for Amanda, Ben, or Becky from Maine Robotics. They will be there volunteering, mentoring, or holding down our own Maine Robotics table near the food court.
