Ayah Bdeir, inventor of Little Bits, shown here with a click together circuit powered by a 9 volt battery.  Little Bits uses magnetically connected components (blue for power, green for output, pink for input, and orange for wiring).

The toy/kit/instructional module is for anyone 8 and over and allows even the non-geeks a chance to build cool electronics.
Ayah is originally from Lebanon and Canada and is a graduate of the MIT Media Lab.  Ayah has been working to make education and technology more accessible to people around the world.
