Maine Robotics Fund

The Maine Robotics Fund allows Maine Robotics (USM STEM Outreach programs) to continue providing first class programs to the Youth of Maine.  Each year we work with hundreds of children and youth and encourage them to understand the engineering and computer science around them.

These are vital areas of interest from a personal, economic, and educational standpoint.  We believe much has to be done to remedy a trend over the past 30 years, a trend towards lower enrollments in these fields by Maine and US students.  It isn't enough to offer college programs, but we must attract our students to these areas and offer programs that incite them to learn more, build more, challenge more, and have these options opened for them.

Donations to the Maine Robotics Fund will be used to support our summer camp programs, the Robotic Track Meets, the High School programs as well as the earlier childhood outreach we are doing.  It will help offer online and in-person teacher workshops to promote more activity within and after the school day.

We are now accepting on-line donations using the link above.

Donate to the Robin K. Camper Scholarship Fund

Each year Maine Robotics works with hundreds of Maine students and their families.  Many of these families cannot afford to pay the full amount to attend one of our academic camps.  Your help can bring our programs to children who would not be able to attend.

The University of Southern Maine is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to bringing quality, effective educational programs to the children and adults of Maine. While some of the programs exist through registration fees, most are funded at least in part, by grants and donations from individuals, companies, and private foundations.
Maine Robotics is now part of the USM STEM Outreach program at the College of Science, Technology and Health at the University of Southern Maine
