10 days to the FIRST LEGO League

12/2/2014

In just over 10 days, thousands of people will descend on the Augusta Civic Center for the state's largest dose of STEM fun!
  • 73 FIRST LEGO League robotics teams will be competing in the main auditorium,
  • 30 VEX robotics teams will be competing in the north wind,
  • You can check out some of the big FRC robots in the Cumberland room, and
  • You can experience programming upstairs at the Maine Digital Festival!
  • Have breakfast with Tim Sample in the Penobscot Room

The event is free and open to the public.  The competition teams are all pre-registered but there are still things for you to come and see and try out!  And great raffle items to try for!
Or come at 8:00 am and get a breakfast while listening to famed humorist Tim Sample in the Penobscot room (tickets are $15 each and include breakfast).  All proceeds go to support the FIRST LEGO League.
So come check it out! Opening Ceremony is at 9:30 and everything should end around 4:00 (Tim Sample will be doing a book signing for his new book around 4:30)
