NASA's Opportunity celebrates 10 years on Mars!

I can remember when Spirit and Opportunity went up, the year was 2003 and they landed on Mars 6 months later in January of 2004.
Spirit maintained it's mission until 2010 when all contact was lost, but Opportunity has continued on and just passed into its 10th year on our neighboring planet.

Did you know the rovers were only designed to last for 90 days?  And Opportunity is now in it's 3,663rd day (Earth day).

NASA has put some great videos up over the years but I really liked this one where they have interviews with team members who were still in school or just out of school when it all started.  Worth a look!
